Levantine beetroot salad - "Mutabal shamandar"

Levant or "Bilad al Sham" is the name by which a group of countries in the Middle East are known: Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Palestine, Iraq and regions of Turkey and which began to be used in Europe in the 16th century; these countries have many linguistic, cultural and gastronomic affinities.
The Levant Restaurant in Amman offers dishes specific to these very tasty countries and presented with great originality.
One of the salads that I really liked at this restaurant is the beetroot salad, which contains different from other places and crushed walnuts and which give it a special flavor.
If you arrive in Amman it is a restaurant that I wholeheartedly recommend.
